Not only are we going to have an awesome new Fanfest PvP Tournament called the EVE3 – 3v3 Tech 3 Tournament  but we are going to have two new tournaments. Plus we are going to match our very best CCP Dev‘s vs the PvP Tournament champions on stage in front of the roaring crowd on Saturday.

 

 

 

EVE³ – 3v3 Tech3 Tournament: No mining lasers involved!

 

 

SCHEDULE:

• 5 minutes sit down and set up, 10 minutes game, 5 minutes cleanup

RULES:

• Players will be provided with a ‘super’ character with all skills at level 5.
• All players will be allowed to pilot one Tech 3 Cruiser, composed of modules of their choice.
• The ship may be fit with any T1 module, which will be available on the market.
• The arena will be defined as a 50km radius sphere centred around a beacon. Any ship leaving the arena will be destroyed.
• A game round will last for 10 minutes.
• The winner will be the last team with a ship alive in the Arena. In the event of a simultaneous final kill, the final two players will be given 5 minutes to fit a new ship and will fight 1v1 with the same rules.
  

PARTICIPATION & SIGNUP:

• Pre-registrations are open!
• Teams may be composed of as many players as you wish, and players may be exchanged between rounds. Prizes in the semi final and final will be awarded to the players participating in those games only.
• The pairings for each round will be posted online on Thursday night at http://fanfest.eveonline.com and in the morning at the event.

 

 

 

Fanfest PvP Royal Rumble Tournament:

 

 

To make Thursday at Fanfest more exciting  we are hosting a free for all Royal Rumble in the PvP Arena. This will give anyone quick enough to sign-up a chance to play for some hawt stuff and Fanfest glory. This makes for a fun and casual battle that you do not have to preregister, train hard or assemble a team for. The Royal Rumble rules are as follows with winning conditions and other details to be released at Fanfest.

SCHEDULE:

• We will allot about three hours for this tournament, giving us six rounds of 30 minutes. A round will consist of:
• 5 minutes to sit down and set up and 5 minutes warp to Arena
• 15 minutes game, 5 minutes cleanup
  

RULES:

• Each player is allowed one Tech 2 Frigate, fully fitted from the market with Tech 1 modules and rigs.
• When the word is given, all players must undock and warp to the Arena beacon at 0.
• The Arena will be a 25km radius sphere centred around a beacon. Any ship leaving the arena will be destroyed.
• The game round will last for 15 minutes.

PARTICIPATION & SIGNUP:

• Signups will be taken throughout the day, starting as soon as Fanfest opens. We will endeavour to find a seat for everyone who signs up.
